RockWorks | ModOps | Solid | Statistics | Extract Values From Solid

This program is used to extract values from a solid model using specific XYZ coordinates stored in the RockWorks Datasheet.

! Before you begin, ensure that the source data is displayed in the main RockWorks data sheet.

Step-by-Step Summary


Be sure you have loaded the datasheet with the XYZ information you want to use before opening this program.

  1. Access the RockWorks Datasheet program tab and ensure that the Datasheet includes columns for Easting (X) values, Northing (Y) values, and Elevation (Z) values.
  2. Select the ModOps | Solid | Statistics | Extract Values From Solid menu option.
  3. Enter the requested menu settings, described above.
  4. Click the Continue button to proceed.

    The program will read the indicated solid model file and extract values for the XYZ locations identified. The extract summary will be displayed in the selected output format(s).

  5. From here you can print the information, copy it to the clipboard for pasting into another application, save the information on disk, etc.
