Insert a check in the Striplog Title check-box to display the RockWorks borehole name at the top and/or bottom of the log. When you click on the Title item in the Visible Items pane or in the Layout Preview pane, you’ll see the following Title Options in the lower-right.
- Title Fields: By default this will be set to the borehole Name. You can choose different fields, or multiple fields, for the log title by clicking the button and dragging the Available Field(s) to the Destination List on the right. The Available Fields are from the borehole's Location table.
- Font: Click this button to choose font size (as a percent of the project output dimensions), color, and angle.
- Use Vector Symbol Color: Check this box if you want the color for the title to be tied to the color of the vector symbol in the borehole's Location table.
- Position: Choose whether the log title should be displayed at the top of the log, the bottom of the log, or both.
- Upper Title Orientation: Choose the desired orientation for the title at the top of the log. Some examples are shown below.
- Lower Title Orientation: Choose the desired orientation for the title at the bottom of the log.
- Vertical Offset: Determines how far above/below the log the title will be plotted. The default is 0.4. If you expect to apply vertical exaggeration of 5x or more to your log or section, you might consider setting it to 0.
Note: If borehole symbols are being plotted at the top of the logs, the title offset will be relative to the center of the borehole symbol rather than the top of the log.
