RockPlot2D - Edit menu
The RockPlot2D contains the following tools in the Edit menu:
- Undo - use this option (or type Ctrl+Z) to cancel the last editing or drawing operation. The number of Undo Levels is established in the RockPlot2D Options menu. (More info)
- Cut - use this option (or type Ctrl+X) to remove the currently-selected object(s) from the RockPlot2D window and place them in the Windows Clipboard. You can then paste the objects into this RockPlot2D window or a different RockPlot2D window, in the current layer or another layer.
- Copy - use this menu option (or type Ctrl+C) to copy the currently-selected object(s) in the RockPlot2D window and place the copies in the Windows Clipboard. You can then paste the object(s) into this RockPlot2D window or another RockPlot2D window, in the current layer or another layer.
- Paste - use this menu option (or type Ctrl+V) to paste any cut or copies item(s) into the current RockPlot2D window. They will be inserted into the active layer.
- Delete - use this menu option (or press the Del key) to delete the currently-selected item(s) in the RockPlot2D window. You can use the Undo command if you've deleted by mistake.
- Select All - selects all items in the RockPlot2D window. You can click anywhere outside of the selected items to de-select them.
- Copy to New Window - use this to copy the entirety of the current RockPlot2D window to a new RockPlot2D window.
- Copy Image - use this menu option to create a copy of the current RockPlot2D window, in the Windows Clipboard. You can then insert this image into a separate document using a paste command. The bitmap will be captured at the current screen resolution. Example: Use Copy Image to create a copy of a borehole location map for pasting into a Microsoft Word document.
