After you have installed the program, LogPlot will now:
- Copy some folders of tutorial data files to your "Documents" or "My Documents" folder (in "\LogPlot8 Data\Samples")
- Initialize all of the program’s variables to factory defaults.
- Display the main program window, loading the Samples project into the Project Manager.
- Open the "Lithology1" log design.
- Open a blank data file.

- See What's New if you have upgraded from a previous version.
- See System Settings for some general LogPlot8 program options.
If you’ve already installed and run LogPlot8 before, follow these steps to start up the program:
- Locate the RockWare grouping in your Windows Apps listing, or in Start | Programs, or access your computer's desktop.
- Click on the LogPlot8 program icon.
- If you have already licensed the program or are in active Trialware mode, you'll be brought to the program screen where you can continue your work.
- If you are running the program in Trialware mode and if the days/sessions are used up, you can:
- Activate your License (if you have purchased a license).
- Or, contact RockWare to obtain an Extension Code if you need more time to evaluate the software.
