LogView's View | Show View Options pane is used to adjust a variety of display settings for the current log.

These are settings which were established when the log was initially compiled. You can change these in LogView to adjust for a new scale, page size, etc.
To access these settings, select the View | Show View Options menu item (shown above) or click on the small << arrows in the lower-right corner of the screen. To hide these settings, click on the large Hide button at the top of the View Options pane or the small >> button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Make any of the desired changes, described below, and click the Apply button.
- Start Depth, End Depth: These settings determine the depth at the top and at the base of the log display. Any data for this hole which lies outside this range will not be displayed in this view. (More info)
- Scale: Determines the number of depth units (feet or meters) plotted per inch or centimeter on the graphic log. (More info)
- Fit to Page: Fits the entire range of Start Depth to End Depth data on a single page. When you click on this button you'll see the calculated fit-to-page scale shown in the Scale prompt. (More info)
- Units per Page: In the prompt to the right, type in the number of depth units you want displayed on the first page, then click the Units per Page button. You'll see the calculated units-per-page scale shown in the Scale prompt. (More info)
- Page Dimensions: Use this button to display or adjust the current page size for this log. (More info)
- Continuous versus Page Breaks: Use the drop-down list to choose from creating a Continuous log or one with Page Breaks. (More info)

- Title Page: Check this to display a Title Page before the main log pages.
- First Page: Use the drop-down boxes to choose which header and footer to plot on page 1 of the log.
- Middle Pages: Choose which header and footer to plot on the middle pages of the log, if any. If you will be plotting a continuous log, indicated with the check-mark above, these will be ignored.
- Last Page: Choose which header and footer to plot on the final page of the log.
- Margin: This defines the space that to be inserted between the header and footer and the log body in the compiled log. (More info)
- Starting Page Number: Use this to define the page number for the first page of the log. (More info)
- Apply: Applies the changes you have made to the displayed log.
