LogPlot is a page-dependent program. The size of the "paper" to which you want to output your log is important in both the design phase and the compiling phase of the log-generating process. And the available page sizes are defined by the printers you have installed on your computer, since single-sheet printers with small paper will accommodate smaller designs than large roll-feed plotters.
- To select the default printer and set the log's page size, click on the Page Setup button
on the Log Designer toolbar, or select the File | Page Setup menu option.

- Units: Choose the Units - Inches or Centimeters - that you want to work with, in the lower portion of the window.
! The units that you select here will also determine the units of the ruler displayed at the top of the Log Designer window.
- Current Printer Settings: These are shown on the right side of the displayed window. Change the default printer and/or paper size clicking the Change Printer Settings button.
! Note that the Width and Height settings shown may be smaller than the actual paper size. These represent the printable width and height.
- Page Settings: Here you can type in the design space for your logs, or just click on the Use Printer Dimensions button to set the Page Width and Height to the printable width and height shown on the right.
- When the printer and page settings are established to your satisfaction, click OK to return to the Log Designer window.
LogPlot will update the window to reflect the horizontal dimensions of the page - you'll see a red line representing the printable width. If you changed the inch/cm units, the ruler will also be updated.
