Create a Statistical Report of Multiple Solid Models

RockWorks | ModOps | Solid | Statistics | Multiple Solid Statistics

Use this program to read a listing of solid model file names (.RwMod) from the RockWorks datasheet and create a report that lists general statistics for all of the listed files. The report can be output to a datasheet, Excel, text, and/or RTF format.

Calculations include model dimensions, volumes, min/max/mean voxel values, etc.

Data Columns
- Solid Model File Names: Select the name of the column in the current datasheet in which the names of the RockWorks solid model files (.RwMod) are listed.
Options
- Node Values = Percent: Insert a check here if the solid model selected above contains G values that represent percent, such as percent sand. If checked, the program will compute "Material Volume" and list this in the output report.
  - For example, if the solid model contains G values that represent percent sand (ranging from 0 to 100) the program will calculate sand volume based on this equation:
    
    sand volume per voxel = voxel volume * (node_value/100)
    
    This will tell you total volume of sand which will likely be different from simple total model volume (unless all voxels represent 100 percent sand).
- Conversion Factor: If your node values equal percent (the above setting is checked) and the values range from 0 to 100, the Conversion Factor should be set to "1". This tells the program to use the equation shown above for the material volume computation.
  If, however, your node percentage values are entered as a different data range, you can enter a multiplier for the equation. For percentages entered as 0 to 1, for example, you would enter a Conversion Factor of 100.

- RwDat (RockWorks): Click in this button if you want the report generated in a RockWorks datasheet (.RwDat) format.
- CSV (Excel): Click in this button if you want the report generated in a CSV file format for use in Excel.
- TXT (Notepad): Click in this button if you want the report generated in a text (.txt) format.
- RTF (Word): Click in this button if you want the report generated in an RTF file format for use in Word.

Select the ModOps | Solid | Statistics | Multiple Solid Statistics menu option.
Enter the requested menu settings, described above.
Click the Continue button to proceed.
RockWorks will read the indicated solid model files and compute the general statistics. The statistical summary will be displayed in the selected output format(s).
From here you can print the information, copy it to the clipboard for pasting into another application, save the information on disk, etc.
