Save a List of Enabled/Disabled Boreholes

Borehole Manager | Edit | Save Enabled List

Use this program to quickly save a list of the currently-enabled or currently-disabled boreholes in your project. You can use this as reference, or to later restore the same enabled/disabled status in your project.

Menu Options

  • Create List of Enabled Boreholes: Choose this option to output a list of the names of the boreholes in the RockWorks database which are currently enabled.
  • Create List of Disabled Boreholes: Choose this option to output a list of the names of the boreholes in the RockWorks database which are currently disabled.

  Click this tab to define the output format(s) for the list. (More info)
  • RwDat (RockWorks): Check this item if you want the report generated in a RockWorks datasheet (.RwDat) format.

  • CSV (Excel): Check this item if you want the report generated in a CSV file format for use in Excel.

  • TXT (Notepad): Check this item if you want the report generated in a text (.txt) format.

  • ! This is the best option to choose if you will later use the Enable from List menu option to restore the enabled/disabled status of the holes.
    ! To re-import the list, BE SURE to set the text output options to "Format for Import into Other Products".

  • RTF (Word): Click in this button if you want the report generated in an RTF file format for use in Word.

Step by Step Summary

1. Click on the Borehole Manager program tab.
2. Be sure the enabled/disabled state of each of the holes is as you wish. You can manually click the checkbox by each borehole name to enable (checked) or disable (unchecked) the hole. There are also filtering options to change the status based on a variety of data parameters.
3. Select the Edit | Save Enabled List menu option.
4. Choose the list contents and output format as described above.
5. Click the Continue button to proceed.

RockWorks will create a list of your enabled or disabled borehole names, as requested, and generate the requested output reports.
