If your LogPlot data files contain an Orientation datasheet, you can use the Survey settings to specify how the data is entered, so that it's recorded properly in RockWorks.
- Click on the Configure window's Survey tab.
- Select how the downhole well survey data are entered in LogPlot.
- Choose Dip Negatively from Horizontal if the LogPlot surveys are entered with "-90" representing straight down, "0" representing horizontal, and "90" representing straight up.
- Choose Dip Positively from Vertical if the LogPlot surveys are entered with "0" representing straight down, "90" representing horizontal, and "180" representing straight up.
- Choose Dip Positively from Horizontal if the LogPlot surveys are entered with "-90" representing straight down, "0" horizontal, and "-90" straight up.
- Click the Next button to proceed to the next step.
