RockWorks | Datasheet | Columns | Numbers to Colors
Use this RockWorks Datasheet program to read a column of numeric values and assign or change a column with color values representing Red, Green, and Blue, and other colors from the RockWorks Color pallette.
Feature Level: RockWorks Basic and higher
- Input: Set up the number to color association.
- Start by selecting a column with the numbers you want to assign colors to from your data.
- Select colors to correspond with those numbers in the next column, Click on the color swatch to make a selection in the Color grid.
- You only need to select a color manually once for each numeric value, then close the Color selection box.
- Output: Click >Columns on the Database tab and select >Numbers to Colors.
- Numbers to Colors: In the dialog box, for input and output, select from the drop-down list the name of the column in the current data sheet where the numbers and colors are recorded.
- Access the RockWorks Datasheet program tab.
- Open the datasheet to be manipulated.
- Click on the Columns menu above the datasheet and select the Numbers to Colors option.
- Enter the requested menu options, described above.
- Click the Continue button to proceed.
The program will read the values from the input Numbers column, convert the numbers to colors, and store them in the specified output column.
