There are several methods for creating a new data file in LogPlot.
Only the BH Info datasheet will be present.
- Click on the Windows menu (upper-right corner of the program window) and choose Editor | New Empty Editor. Or...
- With an existing data file showing, click on the File menu and choose New Empty Editor. Or...
- With an existing data file showing, click on the New toolbar button and choose New Empty Editor.
See Save a Data Template for details. Multiple datasheets can be present for data entry.
- Click on the Windows menu (upper-right corner of the program window) and choose Editor | New from a Template. Or...
- With an existing data file showing, click on the File menu and choose New from a Template. Or...
- With an existing data file showing, click on the New toolbar button and choose New from a Template. Or...
- Expand the Templates | Data Templates heading in the Project Manager, and double-click on the name of the Data Template to use for the new file.
LogPlot will build a new data file with datasheets which match the items contained in the current log design.
- Click on the Windows menu (upper-right corner of the program window) and choose Editor | New from the Log Design. Or...
- With an existing data file showing, click on the File menu and choose New from the Log Design. Or...
- With an existing data file showing, click on the New toolbar button and choose New from the Log Design.
LogPlot will display a new data window, with an unnamed data tab.
At this time you can type or paste in data, add new data elements, and save the file.
! LogPlot also creates a new data window automatically upon program startup.
