Importing LAS Data - Select the File to Import and Edit Text Fields

1. Create a new Data Editor window or open the LDAT8 file to which the LAS curves are to be added.
   
2. Select the Import command from the Data Editor's File menu.
   
3. From the pop-up menu, select the LAS option.

   

4. LAS Filename: Click on the open-button on the right side of this prompt to locate the LAS file to be imported, and click OK in the file open window to select it.

   LogPlot will scan the LAS file, and will list the header information in the lower portion of the window.

5. Insert a check in the well information fields to be imported. They will be recorded in Edit Text datasheet, for linking to the Edit Text fields in the header/footer of the log design.
   
6. Click on the Next button.
