Editing Existing Symbols

To edit an existing symbol:

Be sure the symbol you wish to edit is displayed within the Symbol Editor. This is done back in the Select Symbol dialog box. (Click Cancel if necessary to return to that window. Click on the symbol you wish to edit, and then click the Edit button to display that design in the Symbol Editor.)
Insert dots or lines as you need to complete your symbol. (See Drawing Symbols.)
Exit the Symbol Editor using the OK button (to save the new symbol) or using the Cancel button (to discard the new symbol).
You will be returned to the Select Symbol window.
