Use the Stratigraphy Types Table's File | Export to LogPlot Keys tool to export the formation information to a "Keyword" file usable in the LogPlot program. This can be necessary if you plan to export your borehole data to LogPlot for use in that program.
- Open your project's Stratigraphy Types Table.
- Select the File | Export to LogPlot Keys option.
- Browse for the folder where you want to store the Keyword version of your table.
- In the File Name prompt, type in a name for the text table, and click OK. The default file name extension is ".lpkey" to be consistent with the LogPlot8 keyword format.
RockWorks will read the contents of the Stratigraphy Types Table and store the information in a LogPlot Keyword format.
- Once you begin work in the LogPlot program, be sure to use LogPlot's Options | Program Files window to specify this Keyword file when working with this project's data.
- Or, if you simply want to append these stratigraphy types to an existing LogPlot Keyword file, you can use the LogPlot Keyword Editor's File | Append to Current File option to do so.
