Import Bitmap Types from a Text File

If you've created a new project in RockWorks or are in the midst of working on a project, you can bring in the Bitmap Types from a text file. The imported names will be appended to any existing entries in the current table.

Step-by-Step Summary

  1. Open your project's Bitmap Types Table. It may or may not yet contain any information.

  2. Select the File | Import from a Text File option.

  3. Browse for the folder where the Text file resides.

  4. Select the name of the file that contains the image category name listing. The required format of this text file is shown below.

    5. Raster Logs
    Core Photos
    Cuttings Photos
    Outcrop Photos

    This file simply lists the image category name.

    The program will read the contents of the file and append it to the end of the current list.

  5. Make your desired editing changes to the Table. (See Editing the Bitmap Types Table.)

  6. Click OK when the table is displayed to your satisfaction.
