Other 3D Files

The Other 3D Files layer is available in most RockWorks programs which generate 3D scenes, such as 3D surface or solid displays. This is used to select other, existing, RockPlot3D scenes (.Rw3D files) to append to the new diagram being created. You can select up to 5 other files to append.

Note that this is the same process as appending files to RockPlot3D interactively, after the scene is created and displayed.

Menu Options

• Other 3D Files
  Check this option to append one or more existing RockPlot3D files to your new 3D scene.
  Click on this tab to browse for the files to be appended.
  • RockPlot3D Files to be Added
    • # 1 - # 5: Use the button to browse for the name of the RockPlot3D file to be appended to the new diagram.
