The Other 2D Files layer is available in most RockWorks programs which generate 2D maps and diagrams. This is used to select other, existing, RockPlot2D diagrams (.Rw2D files) to append to the new map being created. You can select up to 5 other files to append on top, and 5 underneath.
Note that this is the same process as appending files to RockPlot2D interactively, after the map is created and displayed.
- Other 2D Files
Check this option to append one or more existing RockPlot2D files to your new map or diagram.
Click on this tab to browse for the files to be appended.
- Overlay Files
- # 1 - # 5: Insert a check to activate the plotting of up to 5 files, which will plot on top of the graphic being created.
- For each enabled layer, click to the right to browse for the name of the RockPlot2D file to be appended to the new diagram. RockPlot2D files have the file name extension ".Rw2D".
- Underlay Files
- # 1 - # 5: Insert a check to activate the plotting of up to 5 files, which will plot below the graphic being created.
- For each enabled layer, click to the right to browse for the name of the RockPlot2D file to be appended to the new diagram.
