Database Import - Select the Data to Import

Step 2: Select the Data to Import.

1. Choose the table for data: Click this drop-down menu to choose the table in the database whose data you want to import.
   
2. Select the Fields: Use the check-boxes in the list to select which fields you want to import into the datasheet. For your reference the data type and length are displayed to the right.
   
   You can use the Select All or Clear All buttons below the list to quickly check/uncheck all of the boxes.
   
3. Click the OK button when you are ready to import the data.
   
   The program will import the data fields, in order from left to right in the datasheet.
   
4. Use the View | Column Properties menu option to edit column titles, to select the data type, and to assign units for any spatial data.
   
5. Use the File | Save menu option to save this data in a RockWorks datasheet (.RwDat) format.
