Borehole Manager | Edit | Field Conversions
This program is used to convert selected fields in the borehole database from feet to meters, meters to feet, or using a specific conversion value. You can convert any of the Collar Coordinates location fields, or all depth fields in the database.

- Single Borehole Field: Choose this option to convert a selected field from the Location table. You can convert any of the Collar Coordinates fields, as well as any Optional fields which are stored as real numbers.
- Borehole Elevation Fields: Choose this option to convert the Elevation and Collar Elevation fields in the Location table.
- Borehole Elevation/Depth Fields: Choose this optin to convert all of the borehole elevation and depth fields.
- Borehole Depth Fields: Choose this option to convert all of the borehole depth fields.

- Feet to Meters: Choose this to convert the selected field(s) from ft to m.
- Meters to Feet: Choose this to convert the selected field(s) from m to ft.
- Specify a Value: Chose this to enter a real number value for the conversion.

- Conversion Factor Value: Click to the right to enter the conversion value.
- Decimals: Click on this item to specify the number of decimal places to be used in the converted units.

- Current: Select this option if you want to perform the unit conversion on the currently-selected (active) borehole only.
- Enabled Only: Select this option if you want to perform the unit conversion on all boreholes which are currently enabled.
- All (Enabled + Disabled): Select this option to perform the unit conversion on all holes.
- Access the Borehole Manager program tab.
- Back up the database if you wish (using Project | Backup Database).
- Select the Edit | Field Conversions menu option.
- Enter the requested menu options, described above.
- Click the Continue button to proceed.
RockWorks will read the selected field(s) from the database for the selected borehole(s), and multiply the values by 0.3048 to convert from feet to meters, divide by that value to convert from meters to feet, or multiply by the custom value.
