Use the LogView File | Export menu to export the current graphic log (LPT8 plot file) to a raster image format.

- Create or open the LogPlot8 log (LPT8 file) that you wish to export.
- Click on the LogView File menu and choose Export.
- Select the desired output from the pop-up menu: PNG, JPG, BMP, or TIFF.
- Enter the requested settings:
- Pages: Use these settings to select whether select pages are to be exported, or the entire log as separate images or one, long image.
- Separate Images:
- All Pages: Click in the this button if you want all of the pages of your log to be exported as individual images.
- Select Pages: Click here if you want specific pages exported as individual images. Use the prompts to enter the starting and ending page range.
- Root Filename: Click on the small browse button to the right of this prompt to type in the "root" file name for the images. For example, if you were to enter "BH1_" as the root name, the output images of your three-page log would be named "BH1_1.xxx", "BH1_2.xxx", and "BH1_3.xxx" where "xxx" is the PNG, JPG, BMP, or TIFF file name extension that matches the export tool you are using.
- Entire Log on One Page: Click in this button if your log occupies multiple pages and you wish to export the entire log as a single, long image. You can select the first-page header and final footer to be included in the export; the body of the log will be exported as continuous (no breaks, and no headers on intermediate pages).
- File Name: Click on the Open-button
at the right edge of the prompt to enter the name to assign to the exported file. The program will append the appropriate file name extension (PNG, JPG, BMP, or TIFF) automatically.

- Footer: Choose which footer to include at the top of the log - Footer 1, Footer 2, or No Footer.
- Scale: Select the vertical scale (number of depth units per inch or cm) for the output image. The default that is displayed will be the scale currently stored as default for the Compile settings.
- Display: Check this box if you want the exported file to be opened automatically upon completion, using the program you have installed on your computer which is set up to open the exported file type.
- Options: These settings will vary slightly, depending on the file type you are exporting
- PNG: For this output file, choose Color Depth (True Color, Gray Scale, or Black and White) and Compression level (High, Medium, or Low).
- JPG: For this output file, choose Color Depth (True Color, Gray Scale, or Black and White) and Quality level (0 to 100 for low to high).
