LogPlot Network License

LogPlot Network: Click in this button if you have purchased a network license for the program, which allows multiple people to be able to use the LogPlot software under the same license. The network license requires a separate RockWare Network License Administrator program, which RockWare will distribute to you after purchase. That program must be installed on a network computer or server to which all users will have access. The license is activated there, and the users' local copies of LogPlot need to connect to that license manager.

! These instructions assume that the RockWare Network License Administrator program has already been installed on your network, and its licensing service is currently running.

1. Enter the requested information.
   • Host: Enter here the name or IP address of the server where the RockWare Network License Administrator has been installed, and the RW License Manager service is running.
   • Port: Type into this prompt the port number that the Licensing Service is using. This will default to 5280 but may have been changed by the network administrator when the Licensing Service was installed and set up.
   • Protocol: Select which IP Protocol is being used - version 4 or version 6.

   • Tip: Click the Listen for Server button to have LogPlot listen for the license service on your network and fill this in automatically for you.

   

2. Click the Change button to proceed into the program.  See Starting Up LogPlot.
