The LogPlot Data Editor is accessed via the "Data" tab.
In this Editor you can:
- Create new data files by typing in or cut-and-pasting information.
- Open existing data files, created in LogPlot 8.
- Open and update existing data files created in LogPlot 7, LogPlot2005, LogPlot2003, LogPlot2001
- Make changes and additions to any data files.
- Create a blank data template for any log design
- Update an existing data file for design changes.
- Import data from RockWorks, Excel, LAS, DBF, and text files.
- Export data from LogPlot to RockWorks, Excel, or LAS format.
The LogPlot Data Editor displays different blocks of data (lithology descriptions, curve listings, etc.) in tabbed data "pages" where you can type, point-and-click, or cut-and-paste the information. Throughout this documentation, we refer to these data pages as "datasheets."
