Move Vector Symbols within the Current Table

If you want to consolidate or reorganize the current symbol library, you can use the Move button to move one or more sequential symbols to a new location within the file.

1. You'll first need to organize a bit: Point your cursor to the location(s) in the symbol list to identify the index numbers of the symbols to be moved and those to be replaced. The index number of the symbol under the cursor is displayed at the bottom of the window.
   
2. Click on the Move button at the top of the Select Vector Symbol window.
   
3. Source:
   • Start: Type in the index number for the first symbol to be moved.
   • End: Type in the index number for the last symbol to be moved. All numbers in between will be included in the move. If only a single symbol is desired, set the ending symbol number equal to the starting symbol.

4. Destination: Starting at: Type in the index number where the block is to be moved.
   
5. Click OK. The program will move the designated block of symbols to the new location.
   • ! Any existing symbols at those locations will be overwritten.

6. To save the changes made to the current Symbol Table, click on the File button and choose Save.
