Create a Printable Vector Symbol Index

The Select Symbol window lets you create a printable index to the vector symbols.

1. Click on the Create Printable Index button.

   LogPlot will ask you whether it's okay that any changes to the symbol library will be saved and that the currently-listed Symbol file will become the default file.

2. To accept any changes and set the current file to default, click OK. Otherwise click Cancel.

   If you've selected OK, the program will then display another dialog box.

3. Enter the requested information:
   • Symbols per Row: The number you enter here (default = 10) will determine the number of small symbol samples that will be plotted on each row of the output index.
   • Skip Empty Symbols (recommended): The Symbol library has space for 1000 symbols. Check this box to omit all of the blank spaces from the printout.
   • Printer Setup: Click this button to select the output printer and establish printer settings (paper layout, etc.).

4. Click Print when you are ready to print the index.

LogPlot will create an index to the symbols, including their index numbers, and the image will be sent to the selected printer.
