If your LogPlot DAT files contain an Orientation tab, you can use the Survey settings to specify how the data is entered, so that it's recorded properly in RockWorks. If there is no Orientation data listed in the DAT files, this setting will be ignored.
- Click on the Configure window's Survey tab.
- Select how the downhole well survey data are entered in LogPlot.
- Choose Dip from Horizontal if the LogPlot surveys are entered with "-90" representing straight down, "0" representing horizontal, and "90" representing straight up.
- Choose Dip from Vertical if the LogPlot surveys are entered with "0" representing straight down and "90" representing horizontal.
- Click the Next button to proceed to the next step.
