Menu Options
- Polygon: Insert a check in the Polygon checkbox in the Solid Modeling Options window to activate a Polygon Filter. This filter will read a user-created file or table listing polygon boundary coordinates, and set the solid model’s nodes that lie either inside or outside a vertical projection of the polygon to the Undefined value.
Click on the Polygon tab to access the filter settings.
- Filter Type: Expand this heading to select the operation:
- Exterior: Choose this option to re-assign node values that lie outside a vertical projection of the polygon outline, using the Undefined Node Value, specified at the bottom of the window.
- Interior: Choose this option to re-assign node values that lie inside a vertical projection of the polygon outline, using the Undefined Node Value.
- Polygon Location:
- Within Project Database: Choose this option if the polygon boundary is defined in a Polygon Table in the project database.
- Polygon Table: Click the button to choose the name of the polygon table to be used.
- Within External RwDat File: Choose this option if the polygon boundary coordinates are stored in an external RwDat file.
- Polygon RwDat File: Click the Browse button to browse for the name of the RwDat file which contains the listing of vertex coordinates.
