Solid Modeling Options - Distance Filter

Menu Options

Distance: Insert a check in the Distance checkbox in the Solid Modeling Options window to assign an Undefined value automatically to nodes that are more than a user-defined distance from a control point, in any direction, regardless of the modeling algorithm.

Click on the Distance tab to access the options:
- Distance = Map Units: Choose this option to set the filter in your project's map and elevation units
  - Cutoff Distance in Map Units: Click here to type in the actual distance beyond which a node will be assigned the Undefined Node Value, established at the bottom of the window.
- Distance = % of Map Size: Choose this option to set the filter based on a percent of project size.
  - Cutoff Distance: Click here to type in the percent of project size beyond which a node will be assigned the Undefined Node Value.
    Note that "project size" represents the 3D diagonal distance between the minimum XYZ and maximum XYZ coordinates in the Output (Model) Dimensions.
