RockPlot does not include an "export" to PDF, but you can output PDF-format versions of your maps, cross sections, etc., by "printing" to a PDF file. This requires that you have a PDF printer of some kind installed onto your computer. This could be Adobe Acrobat, or one of the free PDF-generating applications readily available on the web. Once installed, these programs show up as a printer you can select via the File | Print option, in any Windows application.
Starting back in RockWorks15, with the advent of bitmap and colorfill transparency in 2D images, the method of sending its print jobs to printers has had to change. The program now creates a huge raster image of the print document, and then sends it in bands to the printer. Here are some tips we've discovered in printing to PDF files from RockPlot:
