Sample Density Gridding

This gridding method assigns grid node values by simply counting the number of occurrences of control points within the corresponding grid cells.  It does not take into account any actual data listed for the control points, instead it just counts the number of points.  This technique is useful when contouring relative frequencies. Examples include well density and population distributions.
