RockWorks | ModOps | Solid | Export | P-Data
Lithology models (or other block models composed of a limited number of "g" values defining material type) can be exported to P-Data columns for use in Borehole displays. In order to do this, you need to:
- Create a Solid Model of the data you wish to also view as a curve from your RockWorks project
- Make sure that a P-data Track has been created to import the solild data to
Feature Level: RockWorks Basic and higher

Step-by-Step Summary
- Input (Solid Model): Click to the right and browse for the name of the lithology model (.RwMod file) that you want to use to define the P-Data track. Typically this will be a lithology model, but could also be a solid model representing stratigraphy layers or other materials.
- Output (P-Data Track): Click to the right to select from the list of the already created P-Data tracks in your RockWorks project.
- Sampling Interval: Choose the depth interval from the model data to send to the extracted log.
- Boreholes to Include: Click one of these options to select which Borehole(s) will be populated with P-Data from the extracted log.
This program requires that a RockWorks-format solid model representing material types already exists.
- Select the ModOps | Solid | Export | Solid to P-Data menu option.
- Enter the requested menu options, described above.
- Click the Continue button at the bottom of the window to create the P-Data track in selected boreholes.
This will populate the Curve selected, with values at the depth(s) specified, in the Borheole Data tab, P-Data.
