Adjust the RockPlot3D Fence Panel Smoothing

Follow these steps to adjust how smooth the surface and color blending appear in the 3D fence panel.

Right-click on the name of the panel to be modified (in the data pane of RockPlot3D), and choose Options. You may need to expand a group or two to access the vertical grid icon. If you have a difficult time determining which panel is which, remove a panel’s check-mark to see it disappear from the display.
Smoothing: In the Grid Options window, locate the this drop-down box. By clicking the down-arrow you can see the options.
- Smooth: Choose this option to have the solid or gradational colors blend into each other.
- Flat: Select this to have the panel colors be displayed without blending, resulting in a more faceted appearance.
Click the Apply button at any time to view the effect of your smoothing changes on the panel. You may need to drag the Options window out of the way to view the display. You do not need to close the Grid Options window to apply and see the changes.
!Using the Apply button tells the program to invoke the changes you have made. You cannot discard changes once they have been applied.
You can repeat this process for additional panels, without even closing the current Grid Options window. Just double-click on another panel name and its Options window will be docked with the others.
