Copy Lithology to I-Data
RockWorks | Borehole Operations | Lithology | Lithology -> I-Data

Use this program to copy your lithology intervals for all boreholes to the I-Data table. The top and base depths for each lithology interval will be copied to the I-Data table, followed by the G value defined for that material type in the Lithology Types table. This can be a means for modeling your lithologic materials using I-Data modeling methods.

Step-by-Step Summary

  1. If necessary, access the Project Folder where the borehole lithology data to be translated is stored.
  2. Access the RockWorks Borehole Manager program tab.
  3. Create a backup of your existing project database (never hurts), using the File | Backup Database option.
  4. If necessary, define an I-Data column in the project for the output data.
  5. Select the Borehole Operations | Lithology | Lithology -> I-Data menu option.
  6. Enter the requested program settings, described above.
  7. Click the Continue button to proceed.

For each borehole, the program will add the lithology depth intervals to the I-Data table, if they do not already exist, and will record the corresponding G value for that lithotype in the user-specified column in the I-Data table.
