Modify an Existing Log

A common workflow for new LogPlot users is to:

• Browse through the LogPlot sample designs to locate one that looks similar to their desired layout,
• Modify the design as necessary
• Create a data template for the modified design
• Enter your data
• Compile the log.

In this section of the tutorial, you will use the Log Designer program to open a sample log design, make a few changes, open and modify a data file for that design, and compile a log. We assume you have completed one or both of the earlier lessons (Compile a Simple Lithology Log and/or Compile a Continuous Mud/Gas Log).
