LogPlot stores graphic logs as Log Plot Files (LPT8). In these files are stored the log's graphic items, the plotting scale, and the paper size and orientation at which it was compiled. This means that you can open this LPT8 file at a later time, and it will be displayed at its compiled scale and paper setup.
Tip: You can create and email PDF files to your clients, and they can view and print your log. See a later tutorial for details.

Note that the scale, shown above in yellow, will match the scale in the View Options pane. The value you see in the export window may be different than this example shows.
LogPlot will save the graphic log in a PNG format, under the name "Lithology1.png". The PNG file will be displayed on the screen in whatever program is set up on your computer to display these files.
