Open a Log Design File using the Project Manager

To open an existing LogPlot8 Log Design file (LDFX8 file) using the Project Manager, follow these steps:

1. Expand the Project Manager's Log Designs heading, as necessary.
   
2. Double-click on the name of the LDFX8 file you wish to open.

   LogPlot will open the selected file into the Log Design window.

3. You may edit it and save the changes (Save command) or save the changes under a new file name (Save As command).
   

Important Notes

! The Project Manager will display only LogPlot8 Log Design files with an ".ldfx8" file name extension. See the link below for opening older format files.
! The Log Designer permits only one log design file to be displayed at a time.
! The design displayed in the Log Designer window is always considered to be the default LDFX8 file to be used in LogPlot for compiling your logs. The name of the active file is always displayed on the stick-up Design tab, and also in the Status Bar below the design panes.
