Combine Keyword Files

If you have saved several distinct keyword files, perhaps as a result of customizing keywords and patterns for different projects, you can combine the files into one "master" list. This process involves appending another keyword file onto the end of the current file. This can be particularly helpful if you have created separate lithology keywords and well construction material keywords, and now need to combine their lists.

1. In the Keyword Editor, click on the File button.
   
2. Select the Append to Current File option.
   
3. Use the standard Windows dialog box to locate the other keyword file (.lpkey file) to be appended onto the end of the keyword file that's currently loaded, and click Open button.
   

The program will load the contents of the selected keyword file onto the end of the current keyword file. The keywords will then be sorted alphabetically for display in the listing.
