Compute Column Statistics

This option is available for any datasheet in Logplot which contains numeric values.

1. Click on the tab of the datasheet to be scanned and summarized, to bring it to the front.
   
2. Click in any cell of the column for which you wish to compute statistics.
   
3. Right-click in that cell.
   
4. Select the Columns command from the displayed menu, and then choose Statistics from the pop-up menu.
   
5. The program will scan all of the data values in the column, and display in a pop-up window the number of samples, the minimum and maximum value, the sum of values, the average value and the standard deviation.
   
6. Click the Close button at the top of the window to close the window.
   • Click Copy to copy the information to the Windows clipboard, for pasting elsewhere.
   • Click Copy All to copy all of the content of the report to the Windows clipoard.
   • Click Save to save the information to a text file on disk.
   • Click Print to send the information to your current printer.
