View, Save, and Export the Mudlog

1. Use the scroll bar to the right to scroll downward through the pages of this log.
   
2. Save this log by clicking on the Save toolbar button, or select the Save As command from the View window's File menu.
   
3. In the displayed window, type in the file name: Mudlog1.lpt8 and click the Save button.

   LogPlot stores graphic logs as Log Plot Files (LPT8). In these files are stored the log's graphic items, the plotting scale, and the paper size and orientation at which it was compiled. This means that you can open this LPT file at a later time, and it will be displayed at its compiled scale and paper setup.

4. Choose the File | Export | TIFF option to export this log to a long TIFF file.
   
5. Enter this information:

   

6. Click OK to proceed.

The program will export this long log image to a TIFF graphic, and store it on disk under the name "Mudlog1.tif". You can insert this image into most word processing documents, many raster log programs, etc.
