Save Log Design Files

To save any changes you have made to a log design file (LDFX8) that is displayed on your screen:

1. Select the Save command from the Log Designer's File menu, or the Save-File toolbar button.

   LogPlot will save the current version on disk, under the same name.

   If the file has not yet been named (reads "Untitled") you will be prompted to give the file a name.

2. File Name: Into this prompt, type in the new name to assign to the design file, accessing necessary drives and/or directories, and click Save.
   

To save a log design file that is displayed on your screen under a different file name:

1. Select the Save As command from the Log Designer's File menu.
   
2. File Name: Into this prompt, type in the new name to assign to the design file, accessing necessary drives and/or directories, and click Save
   

! The Log Designer permits only one log design file to be open at any time.
! The LDFX8 file displayed in the Designer screen is automatically set as the default log design file to be used in LogPlot.
