Create a New Log Design File

To create a new, blank work screen for designing a log format:

1. Access the Log Designer window as necessary.
   
2. Click on the File menu and select New, or click the New-File toolbar button .

   Since the Log Designer permits only one design to be open at a time, if an existing log design file is open and has not been saved when New is selected, the program will ask you whether you wish to save it. Answer as appropriate.

The Log Designer screen will be cleared, displaying a new, blank design.
